Society Board of Directors The Board of Directors of the Jefferson Historical Society consists of the seven members of the Jefferson Parish Historical Commission and ten members of the society's general membership. The commission's members are appointed by each of the six district Jefferson Parish Councilmen and the Council Chairman. The society's general membership holds elections every December to elect the ten membership board members. Four of the seventeen members are officers holding these positions: president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer. |
