Donations The Jefferson Parish Archives Task Force and the Jefferson Parish Archives Building Committee are actively working to assemble a collection of Jefferson Parish documents, photographs, memorabilia, and other items. These items will be housed in the Jefferson Parish Archives and Local History Center at 519 Huey P. Long Ave. in Gretna. The building, which currently houses the German-American Cultural Center, will soon be renovated, and the archives will be located on the second and third floors. Help us preserve your personal, community, business, religious, and political papers, photos, negatives, slides, film, bills, receipts, invitations, tickets, programs, maps, posters, advertisements, campaign paraphernalia, brochures, minute books, manuscripts, letters, newsletters, yearbooks, yearly reviews, etc. All donations are tax deductible.
