Peter Briant Print Parish President Aaron Broussard has donated 100 watercolor prints to the Jefferson Parish Historical Commission. The prints are a reproduction of a watercolor painting commissioned by The Aaron F. Broussard Community Service Foundation. The painting is the first in a yearly series of paintings depicting life in Jefferson Parish. It is the work of Peter P. Briant, a local watercolorist, and features a fishing vessel navigating Bayou Barataria in the Lafitte area. The 2004 print will depict an East Bank scene. |
